On the Beach and eDreams are two examples of travel businesses that have pivoted their business models recently. On the Beach has had a 70% increase in long-haul bookings and a 30% increase in premium trips, while eDreams has started a subscription service with 5 million subscribers.
Recent results also include Jet2 and TUI who both reported strong summer seasons. Jet2 also highlighted strong lates where customers booked in June, July and August to travel in the same month.
