TTC has worked with African Pride since 2017. It started with a management buyout, and has led to continued support from our regulatory and finance teams.
We first got to know the team at African Pride back in 2017. Liz and David were embarking on a management buyout process. TTC supported them through the complex ATOL, ABTA, and IATA regulatory requirements to ensure the business transfer was a seamless process.
Shortly after completing the buyout, the African Pride team identified a need for enhanced financial information that would deliver deeper insights on current business performance and cash flow needs, whilst giving greater confidence to stakeholders. Once again, they put their trust in TTC, and we’ve been supporting them with a virtual finance director and an outsourced finance function ever since.
Fast forward to 2020, and like the rest of the travel industry, African Pride felt the full force of the Covid-19 pandemic.
TTC helped the board to steer through the crisis. Our financial projections and scenario planning helped guide the strategy, our monthly financial reporting packs kept the board informed of the key metrics. Relationships with regulators and other important stakeholders were carefully managed, and licences successfully renewed.
